I loved that we were just a short walk from Lions Park, which was perfect for a leisurely stroll, and the nearby North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences offered us a fantastic afternoon exploring its exhibits.

The absence of clear signs for different entrances complicated arrival, especially under heavy rain. Moreover, a promised breakfast was never served during the stay, leading to disappointment.

The lobby & room were clean and the young man at the front desk was very helpful, which made us feel a bit better about the situation. I also gotta say that breakfast wasn’t terrible, Chef Donna was a highlight, chatting with us while serving food.

It wasn’t exactly inexpensive, but you pay for what you get, I suppose.
